Connect CRE reported on the completion of the industrial rail spur at Victory Logistics District, the 4,300-acre master-planned development in Fernley, Nevada, roughly 30 miles east of Reno.

The new line runs more than a mile and was built to Union Pacific Class I standards. It ties directly into the transcontinental main line, with three run-around tracks serving about one hundred acres of rail-ready industrial land.

As Connect CRE notes, the spur strengthens the district’s appeal to advanced manufacturers, distributors and logistics operators that need both rail and highway access. Victory sits inside a federally designated Opportunity Zone with access to Interstate 80, U.S. Highway 50, and dual rail service from Union Pacific and BNSF.
